Carlton Cuse rejoint une série d'A&E intitulée The Bates Motel en tant que producteur exécutif :

Carlton Cuse, who along with Damon Lindelof executive produced and acted as showrunners of ABC's Lost, is boarding A&E’s The Bates Motel.

A&E is developing the series, being produced by Mark Wolper and Roy Lee, as a prequel to Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho. The 1960 horror classic featured an off-his-rocker motel manager named Norman Bates who murdered occasional boarders while under the watch of his even-more-psychotic mother.

Bates Motel aims to tell the story of a young Bates and how his life with his deranged mother and her lover unhinged his mind, eventually turning him into a serial killer. It has been described as a cross between Twin Peaks and Smallville.

If the show is picked up to series, Cuse will executive produce and oversee the writing and production what is being envisioned intially as a six-episode “event" that would lead to additional seasons. It also marks the first “genre” TV project for Cuse since his acclaimed run on Lost.

Kerry Ehrin, who worked on Friday NIght Lights and Parenthood, also is joining Bates Motel as a writer/EP and will work with Cuse.

A&E is hoping the series can do for it what zombie drama The Walking Dead did for AMC, generating top ratings while initiating online water-cooler conversations.

Post-Lost, Cuse, with his Carlton Cuse Productions banner, is working in both TV and features. He recently turned in a draft of an untitled action-adventure for Hugh Jackman and Shawn Levy's 21 Laps for Fox.

- Rebecca Mader (Charlotte) jouera dans les deux derniers épisodes de Fringe :

Fringe ended last season with a disappearing act for Peter. In May's season finale, it's Olivia who'll be getting lost. Well, she'll be getting a visit from a Lost alum, Rebecca Mader, who played Charlotte.

Rebecca's character, Jessica, appears in the last two episodes of the season (or series, depending on whether or not Fox picks it up). Producers are keeping quiet on specifics, but they tell me Jessica is a strong, brave woman involved in a case linked to supervillain David Robert Jones.

"She will have an emotional connection with Olivia," adds executive producer J.H. Wyman. "They may find out they have more in common then they first thought."

Jessica will go on to interact with both Peter and Walter, but I got a firm "no comment" when asked if she could turn out to be a love interest for Peter or if she could return should the series be back for a fifth season. "To answer those questions would reveal a little too much," says executive producer Jeff Pinkner. "The finale in many ways is our characters' final battle."

- Maggie Grace (Shannon) jouera un rôle récurrent dans une nouvelle série de la Fox (à condition qu'elle soit achetée) :

Former Lost actress Maggie Grace has signed on for a key recurring role in Fox’s serial killer drama project.

Grace will play a young doctor who’s the only surviving victim of infamous serial killer Joe Carroll (James Purefoy). The killer is being tracked by an FBI investigator played by Kevin Bacon. We can’t tell you anything else about Grace’s part, but it’s a fun ride.

The much buzzed-about untitled drama project from Vampire Diaries showrunnner and Scream writer Kevin Williamson and produced by Warner Bros. for Fox.

- Yunjin Kim (Sun) a décroché l'un des rôles principaux de la nouvelle série d'ABC intitulée Mistresses, qui sera diffusée pendant l'été 2013 :

Lost alumna Yunjin Kim has landed a lead role on Mistresses, an ABC drama that was ordered to series last month and is on track for a summer 2013 bow.

Penned by Gossip Girl‘s KJ Steinberg and exec-produced by Revenge‘s Bob Sertner, Mistresses is described as a provocative drama that centers on four women balancing scandalous, complex love lives.

Yunjin will play the role of Karen.
